Once you have completed all required electronic forms in Applicant Gateway, refer to the email you received from NYCDOEHR@schools.nyc.gov to set up a fingerprinting appointment. Appointments must be made by emiling HRCServiceCenter@schools.nyc.gov. Once you have made an appointment, come to the NYC Department of Education's HR Connect Walk-In Center at 65 Court Street, Room 102, in downtown Brooklyn to be fingerprinted, pay or choose to defer the $135 fingerprinting fee, and verify your identity. HR Connect accepts money orders and major credit cards. Failure to make an appointment will result in not being permitted to enter the building. Please make an appointment.
Please note that you'll need a hard copy of your Proof of Enrollment Letter from Teacher Track to defer this cost.
