Once you have accepted your offer to join the New York City Teaching Collaborative, we highly encourage you to register for, study, and take your exams as soon as possible.
Keep in mind that the Content Specialty Tests are based on prior content knowledge, and the growth you experience during training will likely not support your ability to pass the Content Specialty test for your content.
Along with the CST, you will also be responsible for taking the EAS. Below are the score reporting windows for the EAS, which all of our candidates will take. Keep in mind that a passing score is required for the Transitional B license. For the score reporting windows for the specific CST you are responsible for, please check them out here. All are different depending on the subject area you are in.
The exams are offered Monday through Saturday at various locations year-round, with the exception of holidays. Please check the website for Seat Availability.
