NY State regulations require you to pass a series of certification exams in order to be eligible for a Transitional B Certificate. These exams include the Educating All Students (EAS) and at least one Content Specialty Test (CST). Upon completion of your master’s degree and additional state requirements, you will be eligible to apply for an Initial Certificate to continue your career as a teacher.
