There is no cost to participate in the NYC Teaching Collaborative program. Partner Teachers (PTs) receive a modest stipend during training to help offset living expenses. However, PTs are responsible for some out-of-pocket expenses associated with testing, fingerprinting, and a few other on-boarding requirements which are broken down in the chart below.
Once PTs have started teaching as full-time teachers, part of the cost of their university coursework will be deducted directly from their salary over the course of two years. This cost is listed next to University Tuition in the chart below:

To defray this cost, we highly recommend sending your scores to prior university partners such as: Brooklyn College, City College, Hunter College, Lehman College, Long Island University, Pace, Relay Graduate School of Education and/or St. Johns University Additional score reports can be ordered for a fee of $27 dollars per report. You may still incur the cost of an additional score report once you have been assigned a university If you have already taken this exam and your score is still valid, you do not have to re-take this exam. For tests taken on or after July 1, 2016, scores are reportable for five years following your test date. For example, scores for a test taken on July 3, 2020, are reportable through July 2, 2025. For tests taken prior to July 1, 2016, scores are reportable for five years following the testing year in which you tested (July 1–June 30). For example, scores for a test taken on May 15, 2016, are reportable through June 30, 2021. GRE scores earned prior to July 2015 are no longer reportable. GRE scores earned in July 2015 are reportable until June 30, 2021. Note: It takes approximately five business days to process requests to send GRE scores. If you plan to send scores and the date at which your scores are no longer reportable is approaching, allow enough time for processing or your scores may not be sent.
